Choose Fathom if…
- You run dozens of small sites: 50 come with every plan.
- You want unlimited history.
- You want scheduled email reports, an API, or your GA history imported.
- You need a password-protected shared dashboard, or EU processing.
Choose Hark if…
- You want the same cookieless basics for a third of the price.
- You'd like to try it for two weeks without entering a card.
- You want to watch visitors arrive on a live map.
- You'd like a live badge on your own site showing who's reading now.
One thing we won't do
Hark counts visitors with an id that resets every day, so we can't follow anyone from one day to the next. That rules out returning-visitor counts and cohorts. It's also why there's nothing to consent to.
